Bad news...
     Well we are home from Maine... No motor no tranny... What happened was the shop went to do a bench test on the motor and I managed to mix the came gears and sent 2.0 gears instead of the 2.4 gears and they used a 2.4 timing belt which cause the timing to be off and do a valve vs. piston. Well all the intake valves got killed and one even punched a hole in a piston! BUT! The dsm gods where shinning apuon us and Josh actually had a extra set of valves and pistons to replace the broken. The pistons are now 9.1! More powa!!!

     We ended up rewiring the whole gauge setup due to excess wires and the chance of what happened to Showdown Motor Sports 1G going up in flames because we had a similar setup. With that taken care of we moved on to the ECU wiring which was also hacked from an AFC and DSMLink at some point. With all that taken care of we moved onto the next part of the plan which is now to complete the full rolling shell. Finish the rear. Put the toe arms in. Get the whole rear subframe complete and rolling. Add the aluminum bushings into the driveshaft, put the interior all back in, tidy things up and head back to Maine in 3 weeks! 

     On the return trip this time the plan is to install the motor, getting it running that weekend, then return the following weekend to HIT THE DYNO! Shooting for 550 whp on 93 pump octane!

The big day!
     Today we head to Maine to pick up the motor! Day is finally here. The car is painted and ready to go and in the next hour or so I will be hitting the road to bring it all together. I will try and keep you guys posted from up there and there will be plenty of pictures to come! I am meeting up with a good buddy of mine and fellow team member up there to help install the motor. Big things to come!
